Day 1

Zanzibar flight to Arusha to Tarangire Game Drive to Karatu

Your adventure begins as you are collected from your accommodation in Zanzibar and transported to Zanzibar Airport for your flight to Arusha Airport.Once you arrive, you will be warmly greeted by your experienced safari guide/driver who will accompany you on this unforgettable journey.

After a brief introduction and a short briefing, you will set off on a thrilling 3-hour drive towards Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania’s most famous national parks known for its vast landscapes and diverse wildlife. The park is home to the largest concentration of elephants in Tanzania, making it an ideal location for a remarkable game drive.

As you enter the park, you will immediately be struck by the beauty of the landscape, with its rolling hills, ancient baobab trees, and meandering rivers. Keep your eyes peeled for sightings of magnificent wildlife such as lions, leopards, cheetahs, zebras, giraffes, and of course, the iconic elephants as your guide gives providing you with fascinating insights into the wildlife and the environment.
