Zanzibar is East African Archipelago formed by Small Island such as unguja and pemba and surrounding islets in Indian ocean Lying 22 miles (35km) off the coast of East Africa. In 1964 Zanzibar together with Pemba Island and some other smaller island joined with Tanganyika on the mainland to form the United Republic Tanzania. Zanzibar is a beautiful island filled with culture as to mention its stunning beaches to make sure you’re seeing the best of what the island has to offer. Known as the Spice Island, the beautiful island of Zanzibar on Africa’s east coast is overflowing with culture and history. Zanzibar abounds with white-sand palm lined beaches and cooling ocean breezes. Zanzibar is a semi-self-governing part of Tanzania. Zanzibar is located in the Zanzibar Archipelago in the Indian Ocean, 25– 50 kilometres (16– 31 mi) off the coast of East Africa. It’s comprised of numerous little islands and two large ones: Unguja (the primary island, referred to casually as Zanzibar) and Pemba. The capital is Zanzibar City, located on the island of Unguja. A section of Zanzibar City is Stone Town, a World Heritage Site. Portuguese intrusion and control of the Swahili Coast in the late sixteenth century marked the end of the wealth for the local Swahili people and the beginnings of European influence and control.

Most Kilimanjaro guides speak English, which is the primary language used on the mountain, but they may also speak other languages, such as Swahili.
Tipping Kilimanjaro Climb guides is customary and typically based on the quality of service provided. The recommended tipping amount is around $20-$25 per day, per the guide. Tipping is usually done at the end of the climb.
While it is technically possible to Climb Kilimanjaro without a guide, it is highly recommended to hire a licensed Kilimanjaro guide for safety and to comply with Tanzanian park regulations. The guides are trained to handle emergencies and provide a safe climbing experience.
